Knaan

This is a portrait of K'naan a great hip-hop artist that I discovered while reading "The Find" magazine. He comes from Somalia and gets his inspiration from his experience in Somalia. His beats and lyrics will captivate your attention. Check out his music at this link.
The portrait was done in gouche mostly glazes of color over a tight drawing. Enjoy. Next up... "The Beatles".

its a really nice piece man, love the color pallet. I know your not finish, but I feel like you need to intergraded the design a little better into his shirt and the background. Show me a very nice and clean shapes for the back ground. I feel it needs something else in the right hand side of the piece, like maybe his hand shaped into a fist or another shape. But over all its a very nice piece man.

Cheers,
OLiver
