What is beauty and what is a muse?

Some interesting questions come up when your trying to find your path through this world. Other questions come from the interaction and influences of other people. The question that I enjoy thinking about is: what is beauty? "Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder" Well what does that mean? How is it that you can see beauty in things that you would normally dismiss? How can you show that beauty in which you see? Am I able to see beauty in all things? Can I create something even more beautiful then what I see? These are questions I aim to have an answer to and the answer may not be definitive but with that answer I can create artwork which test these thoughts. I am in the process of creating artwork that are the answers to these questions and more. I plan on putting together a beauty book with portraits and figures and plenty of answers to the question what is Beauty? 

One of those answers maybe the first book that I create which will be available for free online once I get to 120 drawings. The book is an answer to "How do you understand the beauty of someone?" By focusing on one person, one model and drawing them in an effort to understand beauty. Beauty of line, shape, form, proportions, design, harmony, pattern, rhythm, and movement. I use this project to also explore drawing and  design with no color, not yet at least. After the 120 drawings then I will create bigger pieces showing what I have learned from all these drawings. The sketchbooks will be put up for sale and so will the bigger pieces. I hope you enjoy the journey of watching this come to be. Thank you for stopping by.
