Hello,
This is a family portrait piece that I had a lot of fun with, it feels good to get back into oils. What I tried to accomplish with this piece is a conversation of the grandfather and grandson. The grandfather is telling stories of his shoe shining days and with awe the grandson listens while he buffs the grandfather's shoes. I Hope you enjoy it. Thank you for stopping by.

That looks great! I love the texture in the paint application (or at least what I can see of it from the internet).
Friggen awesome...makes me think of that song Get Rhythm by Johnny Cash. I love the story tell feel of it.
