So I did a portrait of DMX and while I was researching him I came across a video that was filmed as a back stage documentation. Some where in the video DMX or Earl Simmons began to pray at the table that him and his co-workers were sitting in. Then I found out that his next albums name is "walk with me now and you'll fly with me later" which sounds like the context of the album has some spiritual influence on him. Now DMX has been arrested so many times in his life that it does become a surprise when you see him holding hands with others and praying for his dinner. My idea is "DMX finds religion" and the bars indicate where he has found religion. The styles vary a little but the two on the right are finals while the two on the left are studies. Hope you like them.
